THE GRINCHES…This was an abstract series of wood prints i made. Made up of my illustration of an evil monopoly guy, bits of Alfred E Newman and a smile taken from the Joker in the 1980s Batman TV series with Adam West. I mashed the together and printed them really loose on 24′ x 24′ wood panels for an event called Commune. The event supported the fight against big tobacco companies making billions from cigarette sales. I also did a lmtd poster and tee design that were printed and sold for the charity.

WHO MADE WHO? …Based on some of my favorite figures of times past chopped up into a mess scribbling drunk and lonely one night.

STRANGE MEMORIES…This is my version of Hunter S Thompson. I have always been a huge fan of his ideas on rules and society in general. I painted this in 2 days just before moving out of my old studio. The only thing there at the time, was me, my girl, a grip of wine and a looping narrative of Hunters book, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

MY CITY…Just a cool skyline my wife and i collaborated on -painted as a commission for a downtown loft.

DONT CLAW MY GUTS…A set of hand stenciled and screen printed posters inspired by mens adventure magazines from the 20s and a designer drug commercials..Each print individually painted and hand screened. I made these screenprints for an art opening at the Airport Lounge in San Diego with Fieldtrip and Steve Aoki.

This is a cool video my homie Exist put together documenting a mural we painted live at the SDSU GreenFest this year. The artists were Tocayo, Exist, Neko, Dvice, Eedee, Kylie B, Eric Wixon, Nick McPherson, Moistrix, and Mickeyson. It was a fun evening with friends.

NASTY HABITS… 96×72 – My takes on Americas Pharmaceutical industry.

The Keep A Breast foundation is an amazing charity with all proceeds going to breast cancer awareness. They take torso casts of female celebrities and have guest artists paint them for auction. The one I painted was World Champion surfer Lisa Anderson, and
was featured on Fuel TV.

FIELDTRIP LIVE ART SHOW at 91X FEST w MGMT, PENNYWISE, OFFSPRING, JIMMY EAT WORLD

TUNE IN…This painting I did of Timothy Leary ironically became the icon for the future Fieldtrip Entertainment, where we started doing friday night events at the Beauty Bar called TUNE IN.
We did live mural painting collaborations with a crew of artists while DJs and Indy bands played on stage. It went from these small nightclub gigs to doing festivals within a year with the likes of MSTRKRFT, GUNS N BOMBS, THE RAPTURE, MODEST MOUSE, THE OFFSPRING, MGMT among many other headliners.

THE SELL…This was a piece I did to make fun of television commercials. I think that corporate commercial are so full of smoke and mirrors, jingles and stupid messages that cater to the mentality of a small child, but aimed at adults. Can you read the secret messages?

DEATHLY DIRTY….I love dirty martinis.

This is this big painting I did a while back on three panels (12ftx4ft) This meduzza I did in floro colors inspired a tattoo that is now on my arm…

JUST KEEP LOOKIN…I shot these photos and painted these portraits of my girlfriend Alexis. She inspires me in so many ways. Then I married her.

SEX, DEATH AND ELECTRICITY PRINTS, 60’ X 36. S,D,E was SHOT, SEPARATED, PAINTED, STENCILED, and SCREEN PRINTED into 16 ORIGINAL colorways. Prints were available only at the opening night in San Diego, SEPTEMBER 2008.

Two boards I had a lot of good waves on. Then the black and white Firewire board broke in half at Georges and the second one broke at blacks. Not cool.

The TIMOTHY LEARY FOR PRESIDENT street campaign ran from NOV 07 until NOV 08, ending when the presidential election took place. This DVICE x FIELDTRIP promotional campaign was promoted and posted for the one year duration to push the FIELDTRIP / LEARY icon to every city in CALIFORNIA as well as SEATTLE, NEW YORK, MIAMI, and much of the conservative midwest. The wheat paste / sticker / poster / stencil campaign was mostly just for fun, but claimed subtle branding for those who know the LEARY icon we developed for FIELDTRIP. The mock presidential campaign got online press from as far away as SPAIN. Here are a few of the photos we took…

WINDOW WOMEN …These were one of the first screenprints I ever did on paper. Inspired from a trip through Amsterdam a while back.. the girls that wink back. I did four colorways and eight of each print. For some reason I always do stuff in eights.
