FIELDTRIP ENTERTAINMENT

I founded Fieldtrip Entertainment in 2007 with my partner Brett Fischer as a means to doing something different in the nightlife scene of San Diego. What started as weekly events at the Beauty Bar turned quickly into a large scale events production company working with companies such as Red Bull, Quiksilver, Reef, Monster Energy, Fuel TV, 91x, House of Blues, and Lost. We focused on producing private events, concerts, corporate gigs, premieres and monthly events fusing top name talent in DJ, artist and indie talent with live art showcases, galleries, installations and collaborations. Our production company was known for its music roster of talent including MSTRKRFT, Moving Units, Guns N Bombs, The Bloody Beetroots, Tall Paul, Fisherspooner, Talib Kweli, LA Riots among others. The infamous FIELDTRIP LIVE ART SHOW was produced as well at each of our events, a live art mural collaboration show that books a rotating roster of street artists, fine artists, graffitti writers and designers to paint 40- 60 foot murals live at our events. Each mural was either themed or freestyled, depending on the event and painted by the crews in 6 hour live art installations with the likes of top talent from our network of artists. Fieldtrips production company came to an end in 2009, but our live art show is still booked at festivals and events. The TIMOTHY LEARY FOR PRESIDENT street campaign ran from NOV 07 until NOV 08, ending when the presidential election took place. This DVICE x FIELDTRIP promotional campaign was promoted and posted for the one year duration to push the FIELDTRIP / LEARY icon to every city in CALIFORNIA as well as SEATTLE, NEW YORK, MIAMI, and much of the conservative midwest. The wheat paste / sticker / poster / stencil campaign was mostly just for fun, but claimed subtle branding for those who know the LEARY icon we developed for FIELDTRIP. The mock presidential campaign got online press from as far away as SPAIN.
